Split Diopter Effect

Fake the split diopter look in Final Cut Pro with one drag.

Keep the foreground and background sharp in the same shot, the way a split diopter lens does, without the lens. Drop it on any footage and dial in the split line.

Thanks to YCImaging for showing how this look can be built in Final Cut Pro. I wrapped it into a drag-and-drop plugin.

What's included: 1 Final Cut Pro title (MZ Split Diopter).

To install: unzip the download and drag the "MZ Split Diopter" folder into Movies › Motion Templates › Titles (create the Motion Templates and Titles folders if they aren't there yet). Restart Final Cut Pro and you'll find it in the Titles and Generators sidebar.

Works in Final Cut Pro on Mac. You don't need Motion.
