Start a shot in black and white and bring the color back in, without keyframing saturation by hand. Drop the effect on any clip and it handles the reveal for you.
I built this to speed up my own edits and I use it all the time. Tweak it, stack it, and make it yours.
What's included: 1 Final Cut Pro effect (MZ TO Color).
To install: unzip the download and drag the "MZ TO Color" folder into Movies › Motion Templates › Effects (create the Motion Templates and Effects folders if they aren't there yet). Restart Final Cut Pro and you'll find it in the Effects browser.
Works in Final Cut Pro on Mac. You don't need Motion.
