What to look for
- They believe Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for our sins and rose again, and that He is the only way to the Father.
- They teach from the Bible as God's Word, not from another book alongside it.
- They believe in one God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- They say you are saved by grace through faith in Jesus, not by earning it.
- You feel welcomed, and there are ways to get to know people, like small groups.
Not sure about a church you found? Look for a “What we believe” page on its website, or just ask a pastor. A good church will be glad you asked.
